My job as a counsellor is to journey alongside you as you explore who you are, where you’re going, and how you got to where you are in the first place. You’re in charge, and you set your goals for therapy. I look forward to learning about you and your unique story. Each session is 50 minutes long.

Ilana Wiebe MA, C.C.C.

Hi! I’m Ilana. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling from Providence University College. I am passionate about therapy, about people, about my garden, and about my family.

I also hold a Master of Theological Studies from Wycliffe College in Toronto. I worked as a chaplain at a tertiary care hospital in Winnipeg for a while, so I’m acquainted with grief, with crisis, with trauma of all sorts, and also with the pieces of joy and beauty that can break through even the darkest moments. I believe that all health incorporates the body, the mind, and the spirit, and no matter where you are in your personal journey, I am so excited to get to know you and your unique story.

My therapeutic approach includes elements from Interpersonal Neurobiology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotions-Focused Therapy, attachment theory, and play therapy. We will together discover the modality that works best for you to help you meet your goals.

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (Member #11253880).
